Binissalem is almost at the centre of the region of Raiguer, between Consell, Alaró, Lloseta, Inca and Sencelles. It has an area of 29,8 km2 and 4.855 inhabitants. Its altitude is 139 m above the level of the sea and it is at 22 km from Palma, the island’s capital.
